This wedding is in my top 3 of all time ceremonies! It wasn’t because the venue was amazing (it was pretty darn neat). It wasn’t because the flowers were some of the best I’ve ever seen (Andrea at Lovelight Flowers did a spectacular job). It wasn’t because the weather was perfect (well it was). There were soooo many personal touches, I don’t know where to begin. They were married by the bride’s father. There was music & readings from family & friends. There were stories of how they met and nicknames they call each other. My favorite was Joe telling about (I may get some of these details wrong but the meaning is there) how he was 99% sure he wanted to marry Evan but there was a tiny bit of him that thought he might want to be a Buddhist monk in Burma. So, he took a 90 day trip to figure that out and on day #2 he was 100% sure he wanted to marry Evan and had 88 more days to think about it. I laughed so hard…I cried so hard…I cried from laughing so hard! And, did I mention there was a wedding crasher? Congrats Evan & Joe!!!
